Prong collars are meant to fit snugly and not to slip over the dog's head. The correct position for a prong collar is to sit right behind the ears and up under the jawline.

To measure take the full circumference of the dog's neck and add two inches.

-1.5mm collar is 12 links and fits neck size up to 9.5 in neck
-2.25mm collar is 10 links and fits up to 13 in neck
-3.0mm collar is 10 links and fits up to 18 in neck
-3.25mm collar is 10 links and fits up to 19 in neck
-4.0mm collar is 10 links and fits up to 21 in neck
